After a dramatic night last night, I managed to get both my blogs upgraded to 2.1 Ella. The results so far? Pretty seemless actually. The upgrade went without a hitch (if you don’t include my woefully slow upload speeds making it seem like it went all night) and I really am liking the ability to have a page as the first thing you see. On this though, I found it wasn’t terribly intuitive when it came to working out how to put a link to your actual posts on that page, and it didn’t include a ‘posts’ page on the little linkbar. But perhaps this is my naivety or my template or something. I did eventually work out how to put a ‘posts’ link on my page, but the sidebar is alluding me. Perhaps I need to add a page called posts or something.
